Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCHF), is one of the rules issued under Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) by the United States (US) Food Drug and Administration (FDA). Each Organization exporting food for consumption in the US would be required A “preventive controls qualified individual” (PCQI) to be employed in house, to develop and implement food safety plans as per the PCHF Rule.

As an essential role within a food processing facility in Sri Lanka, a Preventive controls qualified individual certificate is crucial to the preparation and management of the food safety plan. Become a preventive controls qualified individual by successfully completing this specialized training under a standardized curriculum that is recognized by FDA.

  • Verification and validation & Record keeping procedures

  • Recall plan

PREREQUISITES FOR THE TRAINING:

  • Prior Knowledge /Understanding of GMPs and HACCP or Experience in food safety systems.

  • If Online training, will need a computer with an internet connection

Course Details

Duration: 20 Hrs (Excluded Breaks) – 2.5Days continuously
