The National Exporters Association (NEA) was established in 1986 to support the exporters of Sri Lanka. In 1994 it was incorporated as the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE), becoming the only trade chamber in Sri Lanka serving exclusively the export sector.

Membership of the Chamber is open to all exporters of products and services, and to suppliers of products and services to the export industry. Our members include leading exporters from every product and service sector in Sri Lanka, from large enterprises to small export-oriented businesses.

The Chamber’s services are primarily focused on its members: helping them promote and sustain their share of international markets and become global brand leaders. This commitment to our members’ goals is why the Chamber is recognised nationally as the ‘Voice of the Exporter’.

Our Journey

  1. 1986

    The National Exporters Association (NEA) is established to support the exporters of Sri Lanka.

  2. 1994

    Incorporated as the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka, the only trade chamber serving exclusively the export sector.

  3. Today

    NCE continues to represent and support Sri Lanka’s export community as the Voice of the Exporter.
