PREVENTIVE CONTROLS QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL (PCQI) Training Course

Why Take PCQI Training from NCE

  • Learn how to perform the responsibilities of the PCQI, including how to write a Food Safety Plan.

  • Participants receive the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) and International Food Protection Training Institute certificate without additional Fee.

  • This is the FSPCA standardized curriculum

  • Participating in this course meets the requirements for a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual and your certificate will show that you have been trained under the FSPCA standardized curriculum

COURSE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING CHAPTERS:

  • Food regulation overview

  • Food safety plan overview

  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other PRPs

  • Biological, Chemical, physical and economically motivated food safety hazards

  • Preliminary steps & Resources in developing a food safety plan

  • Hazard analysis and preventive controls determination

  • Process, Food allergen, Sanitation & Supply-chain preventive controls

  • Verification and validation & Record keeping procedures

  • Recall plan

PREREQUISITES FOR THE TRAINING:

  • Prior Knowledge /Understanding of GMPs and HACCP or Experience in food safety systems.

  • If Online training, will need a computer with an internet connection

Course Details

Duration: 20 Hrs (Excluded Breaks) – 2.5Days continuously

Method of Delivery: Face to Face or Instructor-led virtual (online) training
