As an applicant, an award winner, a Member of the Panel of Judges for many years and also as a Past President of the NCE, I am very much aware of the competitive nature of the NCE awards and the enthusiasm the event generates among a large number of applicants.
Over the past 30 years, the Awards scheme has improved and the applicants are judged not only on the volume of exports but also on other criteria such as value additions, entry in to new markets, innovation, R&D, brand building, compliances, ethical practices and CSR activities. The evaluation process also has improved over the years with the applicants being first evaluated by a highly competent Technical Evaluation Panel who would meticulously evaluate each section of the application based on a well-developed marking scheme.
The entire judging process is well supported and overseen by Ernst and Young, Chartered Accountants.
“I am of the opinion that winning an award at this prestigious event will help an Exporter to penetrate deeper in to your current export markets and also expand in to new markets.
