Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Course

The US Food and Drug Administration’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) law on preventative controls for human food regulation prevents foodborne illnesses through the safe preparation of food products for human consumption in the United States. This regulation requires food and beverage facilities to have at least one Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) to lead the creation, application, and verification of risk-based preventive controls. A PCQI is critical for an FDA-compliant food safety program.
SUITABLE PARTICIPANTS: This course is aimed at exporters seeking to meet the training requirements for the PCQI, including Directors/Vice Presidents for food safety; Managers/Supervisors in food and beverage production and packing facilities; and Food Safety Consultants/Trainers.
PREREQUISITES: Prior knowledge of GMPs and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), or experience with food safety systems. A computer with an uninterrupted internet connection and telephone connection.
Training Dates: 27th , 28th and 30th March 2023
Course duration: 03 days ( 20 hours ) 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Training Method: Online, Zoom.
