November 17, 2021The Budget Proposals of the Government for Year 2022 will be presented in the Parliament during November 2021 by the Minister of Finance. NCE has also submitted its budget proposals in consultation with the member exporters, highlighting the current issues faced by them. We also conducted a pre-budget forum, the Governor CBSL as the Key Note Speaker followed by a panel discussion where many of the areas were discussed.
The Chamber is planning to conduct the Post Budget Forum on 17th November 2021 (Wednesday) from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm on zoom platform. The objective of this webinar is to explain and understand the impact and tax implications of the budget, on trade, exports and imports of the country.
Mr. Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Governor, CBSL will deliver the key note address. Also a presentation clarifying the budget proposals will be made by Mr Suresh Perera, Principal of the Tax & Regulatory of KPMG and the following individuals will lead the webinar as panelists.
