NCE PROVIDES CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN (COs) TO EXPORTERS
The NCE is a designated Chamber by the Department of Commerce of Sri Lanka to issue Certificates of Origin and certification of other related documents required by exporters.
The service is available to both member and non-members of the Chamber. The Membership privileges offer a concessionary rate for these services.
COs are issued both manually and online depending on the requirements of exporters.

Digitally Certified Certificates of Origin Issuance System
A fully and semi authenticated system is available for digitally signed country of origin documents. This will speed up the process reduce time taken to manually process The Certificate of Origin and number of visits to the Chamber to obtain the certificates.

CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN AND RELATED EXPORT DOCUMENTS
The following documents are required to issue a Certificate of Origin
01. Certificate of Sri Lankan Origin
( Document confirming that the good are of Sri Lankan Origin )
Documents required for the processing :
1. “Certificate of Sri Lankan Origin” form duly filled, stamped and Signed by the applicant. (Min 02 (two) copies)
2. “Form B “stamped and signed by the applicant. – 01 (one) copy
3. Copy of Business Registration (First time submission only)
4. Custom Declaration (CUSDEC) Party Copy
5. Commercial Invoice stamped and signed by the applicant
02. Certificate of Country of Origin
( Document confirming Origin of Other Countries )
Documents required for the processing :
1. “Certification of Country of Origin” form duly filled, stamped and Signed by the applicant. - (Min 02 (two) copies)
2. “Form B “stamped and signed by the applicant. - One Copy
3. Copy of Business Registration (First time submission only)
4. Import Custom Declaration (Import CUSDEC)
5. Export Custom Declaration (Export CUSDEC) Party Copy
6. Commercial Invoice
7. Certificate from Country of Import
03. STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO BECOMING A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN (CO) CUSTOMER
REGISTRATION GUIDELINE
STEP 1. Go to our NCE Digital CO platform

STEP 2. Go to “Customer Registration” and fill out the form and submit. (remember to include a strong password).
STEP 3. Once submitted, within 15 minutes you will receive an email notification with your account details, with a username and password.
STEP 4. Once you receive the Account details, log on to the system.
STEP 5. Select the type of CO template you prefer, and as per your requirement.
(1st Template for digital COs and invoices only and 2nd Template to include all export documents.)
